Random House Publishes Latest Children's Book by Prof. Swearingen

Illustration professor, Hala Swearingen (formerly Wittwer), completed yet another children's book for Random House's "Step Into Reading" series. Titled Spring Surprises and written by Anna Jane Hays, it introduces beginning readers to the fun and joys of Spring activities. Prof. Swearingen's illustrations in this volume are cute, beautiful, and delicate. She has published several more children's books, including another title in the "Step Into Reading" series, Dragon Egg. Prof. Swearingen joined the Illustration faculty at Cal State Fullerton last Fall, and brings an expertise in traditional drawing and painting as well as children's book illustration (obviously!).
