On Sept. 4, Katy Betz's New Show Is "WhimsiCool"

Katy Betz, a graduate student in the second semester of her MFA in Illustration at Cal State Fullerton, will have a show during the Riverside Arts Walk at Div 9 (3850 Lemon St). For this show, titled "WhimsiCool," Betz created a new series of paintings filled with funny and beautiful imaginary plant creatures. Her elegant curvilinear designs and precise brushwork, combined with a lively palette, form an luscious ensemble. The show opens Sept. 4 (6-9pm).
