Instructor Kathleen Quaife Showcases Water and Effects Animations

CSUF Animation Instructor Kathleen Quaife has long specialized in animating 2D effects by hand and in Flash. On her blog, she presents clips of water, smoke, fire and other effects she has created for Bloom County, Roger Rabbit, and her contributions to memorable scenes in Disney's Tarzan, Hercules, and Pocahontas. She also shares animating tips, such as useful book references and frame-by-frame animation cycles of fire. Quaife frequently teaches the introductory animation classes in the BFA in Animation program.
