Two CSUF Illustration Students Win In Latest SCBWI Contest

MFA Illustration student Brad Sutton took the top prize in the latest SCBWI Contest (#23), titled "Wacky Wedding." Close behind, BFA Illustration student, Ryan Gerrish, received an honorable mention. Sutton just completed his first year towards his Illustration MFA at CSUF, while Gerrish has one more year before he completes his Bachelor's in Illustration. The SCBWI announced it had received more than 100 entries, and awarded only one first place prize and two honorable mentions. More than 20 present and past students from the CSUF Illustration program have distinguished themselves in past SCBWI contests, including Mikela Prevost Smith, Camille Kuo, Liz Schultz, Sunny Siu, Grace Alba, Jen Long, and Jennifer Wood.
