A Book-Signing Party for Joe Weatherly's New Animal Art Book

Illustration alumn, Joe Weatherly, whose first animal drawing book, The Weatherly Guide to Drawing Animals, has become a broadly adopted handbook in art schools around the country is releasing this month his newest book, Animal Essence: The Art of Joe Weatherly. Animal Essence guides the reader from Weatherly's on location sketches to his studio where readers can see the progression of his animal paintings. It is both an "art of..." book and an instructional reference. To celebrate the launch of his book, on Saturday May 19th, from 5pm to 10pm, a book-signing event and cocktail party will rock Weatherly's studio loft (263 N Bush St, Santa Ana).
