Singer Leigh Nash Picks Design by CSUF Alumna Cara Nilsen

Singer Leigh Nash, former frontwoman for pop band Sixpence None The Richer (famous for the songs "Kiss Me" and "There She Goes") ran a T-shirt contest design on her website. Cara Nilsen, who received her Illustration M.F.A. at Calstate Fullerton a few years ago, submitted this poetic design. Nash selected it for future merchandising and T-shirts. In addition to thematic illustrations, Nilsen has a great interest in children's book illustration, and she teaches at Orange County High School of the Arts in Santa Ana, CA.
