Grad Doug Sirois Accepted in SI-LA 45

CSUF Illustration graduate student, Doug Sirois, had this painting accepted in the student competition of the Society of Illustrators-Los Angeles. Sirois came to the program with strong traditional painting abilities and he is now producing amazing work with digital painting software, such as Painter (check his blog for his latest work). For this year's "Illustration West 45", the Society of Illustrators-Los Angeles will display the winning student illustrations at the Billy Shire Fine Art gallery from March 31 to April 7, 2007. At the opening reception (Saturday, March 31st, from 7 to 10 pm), the jurying committee will announce the top prizes and scholarships. The event is open to the public. Sirois now joins a long list of former CSUF students honored by the Society of Illustrators-Los Angeles.
