11.28.2006

Stephen Silver, one of the country’s best character illustrators (he designed Kim Possible and 100s more characters) will speak at a FREE event at the Titan Student Union Theater, Dec. 1 at 11am on the CSUF campus. Silver will talk about how animators and illustrators can break into the industry, ways to improve your characters and drawings, and how to build your portfolio. Silver is one of the most inspirational Hollywood artists and all-around nice guy! He presently is working at Nickelodeon. He will be bringing his books for sale, including his latest, “Stephen Silver’s Sketchbook,” with over 400 character sketches in 32 11”x14” pages looking like a replica of his own sketchbook. The Pencil Mileage Club has been a driving force in organizing this event.
